2. Overview of data processing

This website serves exclusively for the presentation of the Android app kAIboard. It is implemented as a static HTML page: no forms, no first-party cookies, no analytics tools. The only third-party service is the Google Ads tag used to measure our advertising campaigns, which is loaded only after your consent (see section 5).

The only data processing activities that take place on this website are:

Automatic server log files by the hosting provider (STRATO)
Processing of email data when you voluntarily contact us by email (e.g. for support requests about the app or for data protection requests)
Google Ads conversion measurement, only after your consent via the consent banner (section 5)

3.1 Server log files

When accessing this website, the hosting provider automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits. The following data is collected:

IP address of the accessing device
Date and time of access
Page accessed / URL
HTTP status code
Browser and operating system used (user agent)
Referrer URL (previously visited page)
Amount of data transferred

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest). The collection is necessary to provide the website and to ensure security and stability.

Storage period: IP addresses are stored by STRATO for a maximum of 7 days and then deleted. The storage serves to detect and prevent attacks on the server infrastructure.

Recipient: STRATO AG as data processor. A data processing agreement (DPA) pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR has been concluded with STRATO.

            Note: This data is not combined with other data sources. The data is not used for behavioural analysis or profiling.
        

4. Contact by email

There is no contact form on this website. If you contact us by email (via the address support@kaiboard.eu provided in the footer and in the Impressum), the following data is processed:

Your email address
Content and subject of your message
Time of the message

Purpose: Processing your request, in particular support for the kAIboard app and requests to exercise your rights under the GDPR (e.g. access or erasure).

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to your request); for requests to exercise your rights as a data subject, Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR (compliance with a legal obligation).

Storage period: Your data is deleted as soon as your request has been fully processed and no statutory retention obligations apply. We keep correspondence relating to data protection requests as evidence that we have fulfilled our obligations (Art. 5(2) GDPR).

            No newsletter, no marketing: Your email address is used exclusively for the purpose stated. It is not passed on to third parties, not added to marketing lists and not used to send advertising.
        

5. Cookies, consent banner and Google Ads

This website sets no first-party cookies. No analytics tools (such as Google Analytics, Matomo, etc.) are used.

To measure how many installs of the app come from our advertising campaigns, we use the Google Ads tag (conversion tracking) provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. The tag is loaded only after your consent via the consent banner. Without consent, no connection to Google is established and no data is transmitted to Google.

After your consent, Google may set cookies and process your IP address, device identifiers and the page visited. Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA. Google LLC is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework; the transfer is based on the adequacy decision of the European Commission (Art. 45 GDPR). Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) of the German TDDDG (consent).

Storage of your choice: your selection in the consent banner is stored only locally in your browser (localStorage, key kaiboard-consent); this is not a cookie and no data is transmitted to us.

Withdrawal: you can withdraw your consent or change your selection at any time with effect for the future: Change cookie settings.

6. External links

This website contains links to external services, in particular:

YouTube (videos are not embedded but only provided as external links)
Google Play Store (link to the app)

When you click on an external link, you leave this website. The privacy policies of the respective providers apply on the external websites. We are not responsible for data processing on those pages.

Since the videos are only linked and not embedded via iframe/embed, the videos cause no data transfer to YouTube when visiting this website. A data transfer to Google takes place only after your consent via the consent banner (section 5).

7. Your rights as a data subject

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights:

Right of access (Art. 15 GDPR): You may request information about whether and which personal data we process about you.
Right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR): You may request the correction of inaccurate data.
Right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR): You may request the deletion of your data, provided no legal retention obligation applies.
Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR): Under certain conditions, you may request the restriction of processing of your data.
Right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR): You may request that your data be provided to you in a structured, machine-readable format.
Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR): You may object to the processing of your data at any time, provided the processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest).

9. SSL encryption

This website uses SSL encryption (HTTPS) for security reasons. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the browser address bar changing from “http://” to “https://” and by the lock icon in your browser bar.

When SSL encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.
